Drug Rebate Analyst - WV

Job Summary

Supporting Medicaid pharmacy operations, the full-time remote Drug Rebate Analyst - WV will review drug rebate payments, research disputed claims, and resolve outstanding balances while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review Medicaid drug rebate payments and invoices to identify discrepancies and support timely resolution
• Research disputed pharmaceutical utilization and claims data to develop accurate rebate dispute resolution recommendations
• Communicate and negotiate with drug manufacturers to resolve rebate disputes and follow up on unpaid invoices

Required qualifications

• Experience with Medicaid Drug Rebates, pharmaceutical rebates, or related healthcare environments is preferred
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to investigate claims and payment discrepancies
• Familiarity with PRIMS, SSRS Reports, or similar drug rebate and claims systems is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation applications
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred
