Due Diligence Consultant
Job Summary
Bringing extensive industry expertise, the contracted Due Diligence Consultant will join deal teams on buy-side and sell-side diligence for private equity sponsors and corporate acquirers, focusing on financial, operational, and commercial workstreams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Join deal teams to conduct buy-side and sell-side diligence for various industries
- Analyze target companies to identify revenue streams, margin leaks, and industry benchmarks
- Prepare clear findings for investment committees and assist in post-transaction integration planning
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in one or more relevant industries as an operator, consultant, or investor
- Direct involvement in at least 3 completed transactions related to diligence or integration
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial statements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or certifications (MBA, CPA, JD, etc.) preferred
- Strong writing skills and experience presenting to executives and investors
