E-Commerce Merchandising Director

Job Summary

Driving revenue and vendor performance, the full-time salaried E-Commerce Merchandising Director will manage a team focused on brand and site merchandising, vendor relations, and partner accountability in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Online Merchants to set and drive brand performance expectations, including sales and profitability monitoring
• Own the vendor relations function, managing negotiations and vendor performance scorecards to ensure compliance and operational success
• Develop team members through performance reviews and growth conversations, fostering a high-accountability culture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 4-6 years of experience in e-commerce, retail buying, category management, or vendor/partner management
• 4-6 years of leadership experience in a Director-level or senior individual contributor role with commercial accountability
• Expert knowledge of e-commerce metrics and strong grasp of business fundamentals such as conversion rate optimization and P&L management
• Preferred experience in outdoor living, home improvement, or specialty e-retail
