E-Learning Course Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a contract E-Learning Course Developer, the candidate will build polished and accessible e-learning modules from detailed storyboards, collaborating with a team to ensure quality and functionality across various platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop e-learning modules by applying established layouts, interactions, and development standards from detailed storyboards
• Ensure accessibility and responsive design across different screen sizes while maintaining visual quality and consistency
• Self-QA course builds, troubleshoot issues, and incorporate feedback through iterative review cycles

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of professional e-learning development experience with modern authoring tools
• Experience in building responsive, mobile-first e-learning that meets accessibility standards (Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA)
• Demonstrated ability to self-QA and troubleshoot course builds for functionality and visual quality
• Experience applying visual design principles and collaborating with visual designers
• Ability to work efficiently in a cross-functional development environment and communicate effectively with the team
