EDI Analyst Transaction Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the EDI Analyst Transaction Specialist will manage functional EDI workflows, ensure accurate transaction processing, and interpret transaction sets while supporting Veterans Affairs operations.
Key responsibilities
- Own functional EDI workflows, partner requirements, and data validation rules
- Interpret and troubleshoot transaction sets including 270/271, 276/277, and 837
- Collaborate with business stakeholders for issue resolution and maintain data quality guardrails
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Edifecs products in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Strong understanding of EDI X.12 Loop/segment/element interpretation and SNIP validations
- Proficiency with SQL for querying transaction details and resolving mapping mismatches
- EDIFECS certification is preferred
