EDI Transaction Specialist
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time EDI Transaction Specialist will manage functional EDI workflows, ensure accurate transaction processing, and troubleshoot various transaction sets while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own functional EDI workflows and partner requirements, ensuring accurate transaction processing
- Interpret and troubleshoot transaction sets, including 270/271, 276/277, and 837
- Collaborate with stakeholders for issue resolution and support audit/compliance reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience with Edifecs products in EDI and healthcare operations
- Strong understanding of EDI X.12 transaction standards and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- EDIFECS certification is preferred
