Edifecs Application Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Edifecs Application Engineer will administer, configure, and enhance the Edifecs platform while ensuring reliable Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction processing in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot the Edifecs platform, including modules like XEServer and XEngine
- Build and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze and resolve mapping issues and performance bottlenecks, managing system logging and JVM tuning
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFecs architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
