Edifecs Application Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs, the full-time Edifecs Application Engineer will administer, configure, and troubleshoot the Edifecs platform while ensuring reliable Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction processing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, focusing on EDI transaction processing and system performance
- Configure and maintain modules such as XEServer, XEngine, and SpecBuilder, while optimizing processing rules and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve mapping issues and performance bottlenecks
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of Edifecs architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- EDIFecs certification is preferred
