Edifecs Application Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs, the full-time Edifecs Application Engineer will administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, ensuring EDI transaction processing while working remotely and requiring a Public Trust security clearance.
Key responsibilities
- Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform for reliable EDI transaction processing
- Build, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including EDI Analysts and DevSecOps Engineers, to support system operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments
- EDIFECS certification preferred
