Edifecs Application Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Edifecs Application Engineer will administer, configure, and enhance the Edifecs platform, ensuring reliable EDI transaction processing while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot the Edifecs platform, including configuring and maintaining XEServer, XEngine, and related modules
- Build and optimize Edifecs processing rules and batch workflows, while analyzing and resolving mapping and performance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support release deployments, environment refreshes, and system upgrades
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations with strong AWS expertise
- Strong knowledge of EDIFecs architecture and transaction lifecycles, including hands-on experience with key modules
- Experience with EDI troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization techniques
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies and infrastructure as code practices
