Edifecs Application Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Edifecs Application Engineer will administer, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the Edifecs platform for reliable EDI transaction processing in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and enhance the Edifecs platform, ensuring compliance and reliability of EDI transactions
- Configure and maintain modules such as XEServer, XEngine, and SpecBuilder while managing system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support release deployments, environment refreshes, and system optimizations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience considered
- 8+ years of experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations
- Strong knowledge of EDIFecs architecture and transaction lifecycles
- Proficiency in AWS cloud environments and EDI troubleshooting
- EDIFecs certification is preferred
