Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer will manage cloud migration, design automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Spearhead the migration to cloud infrastructure and develop automation technologies for continuous integration and delivery
- Design and manage monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, including setup and configuration
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, particularly with AWS infrastructure and services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Expertise in core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM
- Experience with AWS security practices and compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in scripting languages and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
