Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer will manage cloud migration, design automation technologies for CI/CD, and ensure compliance with federal policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Spearhead the migration to cloud infrastructure and design relevant architecture diagrams
- Implement and manage monitoring capabilities for cloud-hosted systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide customer-focused support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments, ensuring compliance with development and documentation requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with AWS infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Deep hands-on experience with Edifecs and knowledge of EDI transaction standards
