Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Editor will develop and edit article content focused on breaking news and evergreen food topics, ensuring factual accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch, brainstorm, and write new article ideas
• Edit, produce, and publish articles for the new content team
• Occasionally assign articles to staff and freelance writers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• At least 3 years of writing and editing experience in the food and beverage space, preferably for a digital brand
• Experience in the news space, especially in editing, is strongly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of cooking, recipes, and various cuisines
• Familiarity with content management systems and SEO best practices
