Editor for Comic Books

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Editor for Comic Books, the full-time remote position will manage the acquisition and creative development of new and existing projects, ensuring high-quality content and successful collaboration with talent and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and develop new projects while managing overall creative execution for the BOOM! Studios List
• Serve as the primary project manager, overseeing scheduling, communication, and production for assigned titles
• Provide editorial support within the Executive Editor's office, including talent relations and internal tracking

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in comic book and graphic novel editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Strong strategic thinking and market awareness to inform creative decisions
