Job Summary

To support the BIOS Division in the School of Medicine, the full-time salaried Editor III (Neurology) will translate complex scientific and technical information into clear content for diverse audiences, oversee communications materials, and manage the editorial calendar while collaborating with faculty and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and edit high-quality grant proposals, manuscripts, and reports to support research initiatives
• Implement and manage an editing process for various communications materials, ensuring clarity and integrity
• Lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies and campaigns

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Seven years of related experience in writing and editing
• Certification as a Medical Writer Certified (MWC) or equivalent credential is preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in medical writing and publication standards
• Advanced proficiency in editing, project management, and the editorial process
