Providing thorough and accurate primary source education verification investigations, the full-time Education Investigator will ensure a superior client experience while working remotely from Maryland.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct education verification investigations following established processes and guidelines
• Utilize various research methods to request and verify education records from institutions
• Record and manage investigation data in databases while meeting departmental production standards

Required qualifications

• High School diploma required
• Experience in conducting background checks or investigations preferred
• Familiarity with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and relevant state and federal laws
• Proficiency in using online databases and research tools
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands
