EHR Application Specialist

Job Summary

To support key business operations, the full-time EHR Application Specialist will deliver application assistance to healthcare professionals, improve workflows, and maintain daily operations in a hybrid work environment after an initial onsite training period.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second level application assistance for healthcare professionals, addressing user access, system setup, workflow, and general functionality concerns
• Manage incoming application requests within established service expectations while maintaining accurate case records in a customer relationship management system
• Analyze recurring incidents and user feedback to uncover patterns and opportunities to improve application reliability and user experience

Required qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on experience supporting and working within a healthcare electronic health record platform
• Demonstrated knowledge of electronic health record workflows, application configuration, user access, and troubleshooting within a healthcare environment
• Ability to independently organize support requests and document issue details and resolutions accurately
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to recognize recurring issues and investigate potential root causes
• Effective customer service skills with the ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and operational teams
