EHS Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting field service activities and outage execution, the full-time remote EHS Specialist will provide technical guidance, conduct risk assessments, and oversee on-site EHS inspections within the Fossil Americas segment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide specialized knowledge in high-risk operations and GEV Life Saving Rules while tracking EHS event learning and risk reduction projects
• Coordinate and co-lead on-site event investigations and conduct periodic EHS inspections
• Act as a resource for Non-SP EHS Site Safety Support and support EHS initiatives led by Service Directors and Technical Field Advisors

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of relevant EHS experience
• Strong background in industrial hygiene management and sampling methodologies
• Professional certification (ASP, CSP, CIH) or a clear pathway to obtaining such credentials
• In-depth knowledge of event management and investigation methodologies
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and overseeing action tracking for EHS inspections
