Electrical BIM Modeler
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Electrical BIM Modeler will create and maintain 3D models using BIM software, collaborate with contractors and engineers, and produce jobsite electrical installation drawings while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D models using BIM software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
- Collaborate with contractors and engineers to identify and resolve conflicts during the design phase
- Produce wire routing layouts and BOMs to facilitate efficient electrical installations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Modeling/Design or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in electrical modeling/design
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and NAVIS Works
- Knowledge of construction codes and standards, including NFPA 70 National Electrical Code
- Experience with Autodesk collaboration tools, including Autodesk Construction Cloud
