Job Summary
Supporting a broad portfolio of system studies in a fast-paced environment, the full-time remote Electrical Design Engineer will perform system studies on wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects, utilizing tools such as PSSE, ETAP, and Python scripting for analysis and efficiency improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct system studies including short circuit, arc flash, load flow, and harmonics analysis
- Deliver high-quality technical support to generator owners across various renewable energy projects
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment while managing individual workloads and tasks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience, with at least 2 years in power systems
- Proficiency in EasyPower, ETAP, PSSE, and/or PSCAD
- Experience with Python programming is preferred
- EIT status or working towards EIT status
