Electrical Design Engineer (PE Preferred)
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Senior Electrical Design Engineer (PE Preferred) to develop and review electrical design packages, ensure compliance with industry standards, and mentor junior engineers in a high-growth technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review electrical design packages, including power distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS, and busway
- Ensure electrical designs meet capacity, redundancy, and code requirements across multiple sites
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and commissioning teams for integrated system design and support constructibility reviews
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in electrical design engineering for mission-critical or data center facilities
- PE license preferred; strong knowledge of medium/low-voltage distribution and backup power systems
- Experience with busway, RPP, and high-density rack power distribution is a plus
- Ability to present design rationale directly to clients or tenants
- Experience working across multiple concurrent site designs
