Electrical Engineer
Job Summary
To support the redesign and enhancement of mission-critical electronic systems, the remote contract Electrical Engineer will lead the analysis and optimization of complex linear regulator circuits and analog power management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, redesign, and optimization of complex linear regulator circuits and analog power management systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert in analog circuit design, focusing on discrete component linear regulators and precision voltage regulation
- Evaluate existing circuit designs, identify performance limitations, and develop effective redesign solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Extensive experience in analog circuit design with a strong focus on complex linear regulator design
- Proven experience designing high-reliability analog circuits using discrete semiconductor components
- Strong understanding of linear regulator architectures, feedback and control loop design, and transient response analysis
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legacy circuit designs and develop practical redesign solutions
