Job Summary
To support the RF Design of SmartGrid networks, the contract Electrical Engineer will assess new network designs, redesign existing networks for performance improvements, and analyze network data while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and approvals for new and existing network designs
- Redesign deployed networks to enhance performance and accommodate increased data loads
- Analyze network statistics and provide recommendations for issue resolution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of experience designing SmartGrid or cellular networks
- Proficiency in RF propagation tools, SQL, and office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Demonstrated knowledge of SmartGrid Networks, Slotted Aloha Networks, and TDMA
- Experience with data analysis and troubleshooting RF interference issues
