Electrical Engineer EIT
Job Summary
Seeking a Mid Level Electrical Engineer EIT, the full-time position will evaluate and apply engineering techniques for large power projects, prepare electrical designs, and mentor junior engineers while working onsite in various locations across the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques for conceptual design of large power projects
- Prepare technical specifications and coordinate design efforts with project personnel
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to departmental design standards and engineering codes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution and EIT license
- At least 3 years of experience in power engineering-related duties
- Familiarity with electrical department design software tools and basic computer programming
- Experience in field construction or startup power plant work is desirable
- Previous experience directing junior engineers is a plus
