Job Summary
To enhance the RF Design of SmartGrid networks, the remote contract Electrical Engineer II will assess candidate designs, redesign underperforming networks, and conduct data analysis to identify and resolve network issues.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and approve new network designs while redesigning existing networks to meet capacity requirements
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to evaluate the impact of new features on network performance
- Conduct data analysis of network statistics to identify issues and provide corrective recommendations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of experience in designing SmartGrid or cellular networks
- Proficiency in RF propagation tools, SQL, and office applications like Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated knowledge of SmartGrid Networks, Slotted Aloha Networks, and TDMA
- Strong organizational and project planning skills
