Electrical Engineer (PE)

Job Summary

To support a leading global engineering organization, the remote contract-to-permanent Sr. Electrical Analytical Engineer (PE) will perform detailed power system calculations and engineering studies for a diverse portfolio of energy projects, utilizing advanced analytical software and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed power system calculations and engineering studies supporting electrical infrastructure and energy projects
• Develop protective relay setting calculations, arc flash studies, and electrical system protection requirements
• Utilize advanced power system analytical software to evaluate performance and provide engineering recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power or Power Systems
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in complex electrical analysis and power system studies
• Hands-on experience with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, or EMTP-RV
• Demonstrated ability to conduct power system calculations, including protective relay settings and arc flash studies
• Experience with transient analysis, harmonic studies, and renewable energy-related electrical analyses
