Job Summary
Supporting junior engineers and customers in the field of power systems and arc flash analysis, the full-time remote Electrical Engineer will utilize expert knowledge of power system studies and provide technical support while ensuring accuracy in models and reports.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct power system studies, including arc flash evaluations, and ensure compliance with IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E standards
- Review models and reports for accuracy, and assist in creating models or reports as needed
- Provide technical support and practical applications of expert knowledge to clients, engineers, and sales teams, including support during non-standard hours
Required qualifications
- Expert knowledge of EasyPower, SKM, and ETAP software
- Ability to obtain a PE license within 6 months
- Experience with industrial and commercial power environments
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. and pass federal background checks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process qualitative and quantitative data
