Job Summary
As a senior-level Electrical System Studies Engineer in the Renewables studies group, the full-time position will focus on performing electrical power system modeling and analysis for renewable facilities, including solar, wind, and battery storage generation projects, while providing quality deliverables on time and within budget, either onsite in Lakewood, CO, or remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical studies for renewable facilities, supporting substation and collection system design
- Create and develop various studies and reports, including short circuit, load flow, and protection coordination analyses
- Serve as a client-facing project lead and establish best practices for electrical system studies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, with electric power option preferred
- 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience
- Licensure: FE is required, PE is preferred
