Electronic Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for reviewing electronic claim forms, the full-time Electronic Billing Specialist will identify and provide necessary information for daily resubmittal to insurance carriers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile electronic claim forms and transmission reports
• Contact patients, insurance companies, and physicians to obtain necessary billing information
• Verify coding and input billing data into multiple computer systems

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Vocational or medical terminology coursework preferred
• Minimum two years of billing experience or three years of general clerical experience
