Eligibility Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the fixed-term Eligibility Specialist will verify benefits and eligibility for patients, manage inquiries from various stakeholders, and maintain accurate documentation while working in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and confirm completeness of incoming referrals and FDA requirements
• Assist with reimbursement inquiries, including insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Conduct payer research and maintain accurate documentation of all inquiries

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a call center
• Computer proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience preferred
• Knowledge of health insurance claims, third-party billing, and medical terminology preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment
