Email Marketing Specialist
Job Summary
To support a mission-driven organization, the part-time Email Marketing Specialist will assemble and deploy newsletters, troubleshoot technical issues, and audit HTML code, all while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble and deploy approximately 10 recurring monthly and weekly email newsletters within established templates
- Provide dedicated technical coverage on high-priority deployment windows, troubleshooting last-minute changes and audience segmentation
- Audit and debug custom HTML code across desktop and mobile views to resolve formatting and link integrity issues
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing mid-to-senior level email marketing execution and distribution workflows
- Expert technical proficiency in MailChimp, HTML troubleshooting, and CRM/database management tools like Razor's Edge NXT or Luminate
- Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot platform issues and copyedit content (AP Style)
- Strong proactive communication skills with a collaborative approach to partnering with internal design teams and project stakeholders
