Job Summary
To enhance email security protocols, the full-time Email Security Operations Specialist will manage the administration and configuration of Proofpoint Core Email Protection and provide support for Microsoft Exchange environments while working remotely on a one-year contract.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and configure Proofpoint Core Email Protection and Abnormal Security, ensuring effective email security measures
- Support Microsoft Exchange Server and Windows Defender in an email security environment, troubleshooting authentication and alignment issues
- Identify and mitigate email threats, coordinating with vendors to resolve configuration and delivery problems
Required qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, including SIEM and incident response
- Proven experience with Proofpoint Email Protection Gateway and advanced phishing protection solutions
- Experience integrating cloud-based email services with on-premises secure email gateways
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of email-related compliance requirements, such as HIPAA
