Embedded Linux Engineer
Job Summary
Bringing up Qualcomm Android 16 BSP on the SM4450 device, the full-time Embedded Linux Engineer will integrate the platform with device hardware, configure Android Common Kernel, and manage Qualcomm support cases while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate Qualcomm SM4450 Android 16 BSP with device hardware and reproduce the current Android 14 build
- Configure and patch Android Common Kernel and device trees, including bootloader and A/B updates
- Debug boot failures, kernel panics, and thermal issues while managing Qualcomm support cases
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Android BSP bring-up on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms
- Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel, Device Trees, and Android Drivers/HAL
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
- Ability to read hardware schematics and perform kernel debugging
- Familiarity with Android build systems such as Soong and Make
