Embedded Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading airborne software tool qualification activities, the full-time remote Embedded Software Engineer will manage test environment setups, execute Run-For-Score processes, and develop DO-330 qualification packages while ensuring compliance with RTCA/DO-178 certification standards.
Key responsibilities
- Set up target and host test environments in collaboration with software tool vendors
- Execute Run-For-Score and support internal TCR and regulatory reviews for tool qualification
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the engineering team
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DO-330 tool qualification, preferably with RapiTest and/or RapiCover
- Experience in airborne software development and testing
- Proven background in leading program strategies and initiatives
- Familiarity with RTCA/DO-178 certification standards
- Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Ada 95
