Embedded Systems Software Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the development of advanced mission processing systems, the full-time remote Embedded Systems Software Engineer will design, develop, integrate, debug, and maintain embedded software for space and military applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for mission processing systems, including embedded Linux platforms and device drivers
- Develop microcontroller firmware for power control, monitoring, and communications
- Participate in requirements development, design reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Working proficiency in C and C++ for embedded or systems-level development
- Knowledge of embedded Linux, bootloaders, device drivers, and board bring-up
- Ability to develop microcontroller firmware and interface with board-level peripherals
- Familiarity with source control, build systems, and technical documentation
