Job Summary

Seeking adaptable individuals, the contract-based Emergency Management Corps Member will support disaster response efforts by collaborating with government and nonprofit organizations, conducting rapid needs assessments, and managing logistics, with the expectation of on-call deployment across various U.S. locations and potentially internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with agencies to support disaster preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives
• Perform rapid needs assessments and coordinate resource allocation to meet community priorities
• Support humanitarian missions and manage operations for emergency sheltering and mass care

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of direct experience in disaster response or emergency management
• Ability to meet physical and medical standards necessary for deployment
• Willingness to deploy on short notice and remain away from home for extended periods
• Proficiency with standard office and communication software
