Emergency Roadside Responder

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service from a remote location, the full-time Emergency Roadside Telephone Responder will handle high volumes of incoming calls from AAA Members in need of roadside assistance, utilizing internal knowledgebase programs and online mapping tools.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer and manage 40-60 incoming calls daily, assisting Members with roadside assistance requests
• Accurately input Member details and use mapping tools to determine breakdown locations and towing destinations
• Listen actively to identify special handling situations and provide clear information regarding service status and costs

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
• Proficiency in computer use and typing skills
• Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
• Familiarity with maps and map reading is preferred
