EMPI Analyst
Job Summary
To support the transformation of primary care delivery, the full-time remote Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) Analyst will ensure the integrity of patient demographics by remediating duplicate data and mitigating potential account overlays.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and perform patient medical record merges, unmerges, and overlays while ensuring data accuracy
- Proactively solve problems related to patient safety and data integrity in electronic medical records
- Notify all relevant parties promptly to ensure timely execution of data corrections across disparate systems
Required qualifications
- Minimum Associate's Degree preferred
- RHIA or RHIT certification preferred
- 3 - 5 years of Medical Records experience required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
