Employment and Corporate Counsel
Job Summary
Seeking a collaborative and business-focused Employment & Corporate Counsel, the full-time remote position will manage legal advisory on HR matters, support corporate governance, and draft commercial contracts while reporting to the Chief Legal Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, and offboarding
- Draft and review employment-related documents and oversee internal workplace investigations
- Negotiate and advise on commercial contracts and identify legal risks across business operations
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state
- 3+ years of relevant legal experience in employment law and general corporate law
- Core expertise in employment law and workplace compliance
- Experience drafting and negotiating standard commercial contracts
