Employment Associate Counsel
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the remote Associate Counsel, Employment will provide legal and strategic advice on employment matters, manage disputes, and draft agreements while collaborating with various business functions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal and strategic advice on global employment matters including employee relations, compliance, and recruiting
- Assist in managing employment-related disputes, complaints, litigation, and investigations
- Draft, negotiate, and review employment-related agreements and collaborate with the People team on policy development
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to a state bar
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience advising on employment and labor-related matters
- Knowledge of employment laws including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and wage and hour laws
- Superior business acumen and a commitment to responsive client service
- Strong negotiation skills and effective communication abilities with diverse professionals
