Employment Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Employment Counsel, this full-time remote position will provide legal advice on employment matters, manage international disputes, and develop scalable employment practices while collaborating with the People Team and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely legal advice on recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations matters
• Draft and review employment-related documents, ensuring compliance and alignment with company practices
• Conduct workplace investigations and manage employment litigation and disputes across jurisdictions

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a corporate attorney with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and experience with global employment issues
• Proven experience in workplace investigations and managing employee relations matters
• Expertise in drafting employment agreements, policies, and compliance-related documents
• Familiarity with corporate compliance programs and risk management frameworks
