Employment Law Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing team across the Americas, the remote Senior Counsel, Americas Employment will advise on global employment matters, manage disputes and investigations, and develop scalable policies to facilitate organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a legal advisor on hiring, performance management, terminations, and compliance with employment laws
• Manage employment litigation and administrative charges, including strategy and outside counsel relationships
• Partner with People & Culture on compensation and benefits programs to ensure legal compliance and monitor emerging legislation

Required qualifications

• JD (or equivalent) with active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• 8+ years of relevant experience in employment law counseling and litigation management, preferably in a technology/software context
• Substantive knowledge of U.S. federal and multi-state employment law, along with international employment matters
• Experience managing employment litigation and partnering with People & Culture in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to draft clear policies and provide practical guidance to leadership
