Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the EMR Processing Agent will retrieve medical records electronically, prepare and transmit them through standard procedures, and troubleshoot errors while providing feedback to enhance the EMR retrieval process.
Key responsibilities
- Remotely retrieve records through providers' medical record systems
- Prepare and transmit records while ensuring job processes are functioning correctly
- Participate in training sessions with Provider representatives and complete assigned special projects
Required qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to learn new EMR systems through training
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures with attention to detail
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
