Encounters Systems Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements, the full-time remote Encounters Systems Analyst II will perform analysis of Encounter data, support regulatory data projects, and resolve data issues while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze Encounter data to assess financial and clinical impacts and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements
• Review Encounter rejections and provide resolutions for data issues and process changes
• Support claims data processes and regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CMS and state agencies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Arts or equivalent relevant work experience is required
• Preferred Master's Degree in Science/Arts with a concentration in Healthcare Analytics or Data Science
• Minimum of one to two years of experience in managed healthcare or claims environments
• At least one year of experience with SQL, SAS, SSIS, MySQL, ORACLE, R, or PowerBI
• Advanced knowledge of coding and billing processes, including CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
