Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine clinic, the part-time Endocrinology Physician (State Licensed) will provide evidence-based treatment for obesity and comprehensive diabetes management while working remotely for a minimum of 20 hours per week, including 16 hours of clinical patient-facing time.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care focusing on obesity treatment and diabetes management, including insulin titration
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and Registered Dietitians to ensure quality care for patients with complex co-morbidities
- Review patient charts and conduct visits to maintain continuity of care and manage advanced treatment planning
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree with valid and current Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility for additional state licenses
- 2 years of clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program
- Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
- Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of CGMs and insulin pumps
