Endpoint Security Architect

Job Summary

Supporting the DC3 (Defense Cyber Crimes Center) in Linthicum Heights, MD, with remote flexibility, the full-time Endpoint Security Architect will develop and execute technology strategies focused on enhancing endpoint security, ensuring high standards of security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure technology solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards with a focus on endpoint security
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends and best practices in endpoint security
• Drive continuous improvement in endpoint security operations, policies, and procedures, including incident response and vulnerability management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in endpoint security, including EDR, threat intelligence, and incident response, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in developing endpoint security solutions in IL4/5 SaaS or IaaS environments
• Strong technical expertise in EDR tools such as Carbon Black, SentinelOne, or CrowdStrike
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, are a plus
