Energetics Process Engineer
Job Summary
To support the design of complex manufacturing facilities involving hazardous materials, the full-time Energetics Process Engineer will develop and integrate the overall energetics manufacturing process while working remotely, preferably from Texas.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate the overall energetics manufacturing process, including design criteria and production requirements
- Evaluate manufacturing technologies and coordinate process requirements across multiple engineering disciplines
- Provide technical guidance to process engineers and designers throughout project phases from feasibility to commissioning
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field
- 8+ years of relevant process engineering experience, particularly in energetics manufacturing
- Experience developing process design for manufacturing facilities, including PFDs and P&IDs
- Strong background in batch processing and hazardous-material handling
- Ability to establish a process design basis and advance designs with incomplete technical information
