Energy Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the client's Environmental Sustainability team, the full-time Energy Analyst will track water usage, waste diversion, and assist with sustainability initiatives across the real estate portfolio while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct data audits and verification checks on utility consumption databases
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for water and waste data, identifying areas for improvement
- Research sustainability trends and innovative technologies to support GHG emission, waste, and water reduction goals
Required qualifications
- BS in engineering or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in business analytics focused on energy and CO2 consumption
- Industry-specific certification such as USGBC (LEED), IFMA (SFP), or AEE (CEM)
- Familiarity with energy conservation practices and alternative power sources
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior managerial and executive personnel
