Job Summary
Detail-oriented and motivated, the full-time remote Energy Market Analyst will support the registration and operational processes for distributed generation in wholesale energy markets, focusing on data management, market analysis, and process improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Support the wholesale energy market registration process and manage the lifecycle of MW participation
- Acquire and analyze market performance data to maximize asset value and build actionable reports
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability
Required qualifications
- Experience in wholesale energy markets with understanding of market operations
- Familiarity with grid operator registration processes and MW participation requirements
- Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis
- Experience with AI tools or a willingness to learn and integrate AI into workflows
- 1-3 years of experience in the DER or wholesale energy space
